Orlando Magic (20-39) at Utah Jazz (28-31), 9 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Orlando Magic hope to put the brakes on a five-game losing streak when they conclude a five-game road trip tonight against the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center.
This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. The Magic are scheduled to host Utah on March 15th at TD Waterhouse Centre.
Orlando has won three straight in this series. The Magic have won two of their last three at Utah.
On Saturday, Carmelo Anthony scored 24 points as the Denver Nuggets defeated Orlando, 110-94, at the Pepsi Center. Grant Hill led the Magic, who have lost 13 of their last 14 games overall, with 19 points.
Forward Dwight Howard scored 15 points and grabbed 11 boards in the loss to Denver for the Magic, while guard Carlos Arroyo ended with 12 points off the bench.
The Magic are 6-25 as the visitor this season. They have lost 12 in a row on the road. Orlando's last win away from home was on January 26th at Philadelphia.
The Jazz will try and get back on the winning track this evening. They open a three-game homestand and will also host Minnesota on Wednesday and Dallas on Saturday during the current stand.
On Sunday, Rashard Lewis ended with 22 points as the Seattle SuperSonics blew out the Jazz, 113-81, at KeyArena. Carlos Boozer finished with 14 points and eight rebounds and rookie Deron Williams added 12 points for the Jazz, who have lost two of their last three games overall.
Utah is just 14-15 at the Delta Center this season.
