Memphis Grizzlies (45-33) at Charlotte Bobcats (22-55), 7:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The playoff bound Memphis Grizzlies play the opener of a brief two-game road trip tonight, as they visit the Charlotte Bobcats.

Memphis leads the Los Angles Clippers by one-half game for No. 5 in the Western Conference playoff race.

Charlotte goes for its second straight win this evening. On Sunday, Brevin Knight finished with 19 points and 10 assists to lead the Bobcats to a 94-88 victory over the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre.

Jumaine Jones added 17 points and 11 boards, while Primoz Brezec scored 17 and pulled down eight rebounds in the win over Toronto for the Bobcats, who have won two of their last three games overall.

The Bobcats are 15-23 as the host this season. They have won three of their last five at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

Memphis plays the first of a brief two-game road trip. On Tuesday, Pau Gasol had 19 points, 10 rebounds and six assists to lead the Grizzlies over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 92-76, at FedExForum.

Chucky Atkins netted 17 and Bobby Jackson ended with 16 points for Memphis, which has won four of its last five games overall.

The Grizzlies are 16-22 on the road this season. They are scheduled to visit the Houston Rockets on Saturday at the Toyota Center.

This is the second and final meeting of the campaign between the squads. On March 26th, Gasol scored 33 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Memphis to a 102-95 win over Charlotte at the FedExForum,

Memphis has won all three contests in this series and is 1-0 as the visitor against the Bobcats.
