(Sports Network) - The struggling Portland Trail Blazers conclude their Texas road swing this evening versus the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center.
The trip didn't start well for the Blazers, who suffered a 101-81 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
Zach Randolph recorded a game-high 24 points and nine boards, while Darius Miles netted 16 for the Blazers, who have lost seven of their last eight.
Portland has lost four straight and eight of its last nine road games. It owns a 6-23 mark away from the Rose Garden this season. The Blazers will finish their brief road trip in Dallas on Tuesday.
Portland has not won in the state of Texas since registering an 81-66 victory at Houston on April 8, 2003.
Meanwhile, the Rockets ended a two-game losing streak with Friday's 89-78 victory over the Denver Nuggets.
Tracy McGrady had 23 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks to lead the Rockets at the Toyota Center.
Yao Ming had 21 points and eight boards, while Stromile Swift netted 15 and pulled down six rebounds for the Rockets, who have won four of their last six.
Houston won the first meeting of the season with the Blazers by a 100-86 score on December 11 at the Rose Garden. The Rockets have won eight straight in the series and nine of the last 13 matchups.
Portland has dropped four in a row and five of six at Houston.
