(Sports Network) - The Sacramento Kings will resume a five-game road trip this afternoon when they visit the Washington Wizards at the MCI Center.
Sacramento, which is still in the hunt for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, has won three in a row overall and is 2-0 on its current swing.
After beating Portland at home, the Kings defeated the Cavs in Cleveland and took it to the Hawks Friday night in Atlanta.
Brad Miller had 24 points and 10 rebounds as the Kings posted a 102-93 triumph over the Hawks at Philips Arena. Kevin Martin added 19 points and nine boards, while Mike Bibby and Ron Artest both scored 18 points for the Kings, who have won four of their last five games.
Bonzi Wells returned for Sacramento after missing 11 straight games due to a strained right groin. He scored three points in 11 minutes against the Hawks.
The Kings are 4-10 in their last 14 road games and are a miserable 9-19 away from ARCO Arena this season.
Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have dropped three straight and were handed a 119-113 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center on Friday. The Wizards couldn't handle Allen Iverson, who had 47 points and 12 assists.
Gilbert Arenas had a team-high 33 points and dished out eight assists, while Antawn Jamison tallied 24 points and 15 rebounds for Washington.
The Wizards, who had won nine straight at the MCI Center before losing to Indiana last week, is seventh in the Eastern Conference playoff race. After Sunday's home game versus the Kings, Washington will host Boston.
Sunday's matchup is the first of two meetings between the Kings and Wizards. Sacramento, which will host Washington on March 28, has won three in a row and six of the last seven meetings against the Wizards.
