Atlanta Hawks (24-52) at Orlando Magic (32-44), 7 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The streaking Orlando Magic try to keep their slim playoff hopes alive tonight, as they host the Atlanta Hawks at the TD Waterhouse Centre.

Orlando is three games behind Chicago and Philadelphia for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Magic have won four straight contests and will play the first of a brief two-game homestand this evening. Jameer Nelson scored 26 points to lead the Magic to a 93-84 victory over the Miami Heat on Sunday at AmericanAirlines Arena.

Dwight Howard finished with 16 points and eight rebounds in the win over the Heat for Orlando, which has won eight of its last nine games overall. Hedo Turkoglu netted 14 and DeShawn Stevenson ended with 11 points in the victory.

Orlando is 23-14 at home this season. The Magic are scheduled to host the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.

Atlanta plays the finale of a two-game road trip. On Sunday, Trenton Hassell hit a jumper with 1.9 seconds remaining to lift the Minnesota Timberwolves to an 84-83 victory over the Hawks at the Target Center.

Joe Johnson, Al Harrington and Josh Smith all scored 14 points, while Zaza Pachulia netted 13 in the loss to Minnesota for the Hawks, who have dropped nine of their last 12 games overall.

The Hawks are 7-31 on the road this season. They have lost 10 straight contests as the visitor.

This is the fourth and final meeting of the campaign between the squads. Atlanta swept the two contests at Philips Arena, while the Magic defeated the Hawks, 108-101, on March 26th at TD Waterhouse Centre.

The home team has won 16 of the last 21 meetings in this series. Atlanta has lost three straight and 11 of its last 12 at Orlando.
