(Sports Network) - The Cleveland Cavaliers will try to extend their seven-game winning streak tonight when they visit the Charlotte Bobcats.
The Cavs, who are just a 1/2 game behind New Jersey for the third seed in the Eastern Conference, made it seven in a row with Saturday's 106-99 win over the Miami Heat at Quicken Loans Arena.
LeBron James recorded his 10th career triple-double with 47 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, while Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Damon Jones added 12 points apiece for the Cavaliers, who have a solid lead for the No. 4 spot in the Eastern Conference.
Cleveland benefited from the absence of Heat center Shaquille O'Neal.
The playoff-bound Cavs will hit the road where they are just 1-3 in their last four games. Cleveland is 15-19 as the visitor this season.
Meanwhile, the Bobcats have lost eight of their last 10 games, including Friday's 113-105 loss to the Chicago Bulls.
Jumaine Jones scored 28 points for the Bobcats, who have dropped four of five. Gerald Wallace notched 26 points and 12 boards, while Raymond Felton had 15 points and 10 assists and Brevin Knight had 15 points and nine assists.
Charlotte is 1-1 on its four-game homestand and will host Minnesota on Tuesday. The Bobcats are 14-22 as the host this season.
In the series between Cleveland and Charlotte, the Cavs own a 6-0 edge.
