Chicago Bulls (28-24) at Charlotte Bobcats (11-41), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats play the first of a brief two-game homestand tonight, as they welcome the Chicago Bulls to Charlotte Coliseum.
This is the second meeting of the season between the clubs. On January 27th, Chicago knocked off the Bobcats, 101-93, at the United Center. The teams will play twice more in the 2004-05 campaign as Charlotte will host the Bulls on March 30th, while the Bobcats will visit Chicago on April 2nd.
Charlotte has lost two in a row. On Friday, Vince Carter scored 28 points and Nenad Krstic had nine of his career-high 25 points in the fourth quarter as the New Jersey Nets held off Charlotte, 93-86, at Continental Airlines Arena.
Gerald Wallace finished with 23 points and Primoz Brezec added 14 for the Bobcats, who suffered their ninth loss in 10 games. Charlotte, which fell to 2-24 on the road, received 10 points and 12 assists from Brevin Knight as well.
Charlotte is 4-35 when it scores under 100 points this season
The Bobcats are 9-17 as the host this season. Charlotte has lost four of its last five at home.
Kirk Hinrich had 26 points to lead the Chicago Bulls past the Washington Wizards, 97-90, at the United Center. Ben Gordon added 20 points off the bench for the Bulls, who won for the fifth time in their last six games.
The rookie Gordon has scored in double-digits in six straight and 10 of the last 11 games. He is averaging 19.9 points per game, 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
Chicago is 10-14 on the road this season. The Bulls are 5-5 in their last 10 contests as the visitor.
