Los Angeles Lakers (22-17) at Los Angeles Clippers (19-22), 10:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The battle for Los Angeles is on once again at Staples Center, as the Clippers act as the host against the Lakers.

This is the third meeting of the season between the clubs. The Lakers were victorious in the two previous contests. The teams will play once more this season, as the Lakers are scheduled to be the host on March 8th.

Overall, the Lakers have won five straight and 10 of the last 11 games in this series. The Lakers have won two straight as the visitor against the Clippers, who last defeated the Lakers on January 4, 2004.

The Lakers try to get back on the winning track tonight. On Tuesday, Vladimir Radmanovic connected on 8-of-14 three-pointers and posted 26 points while Ray Allen scored 25, as the Seattle SuperSonics cruised to a 104-93 victory over the Lakers at Staples Center.

Coming off the bench in Tuesday's loss for the Lakers, Luke Walton scored a career-high 19 points and Lamar Odom also added 19 points. The Lakers continue to play without All-Star guard Kobe Bryant, who is out with an ankle injury. Odom added 13 rebounds and eight assists for Los Angeles, which had won two straight entering the game against Seattle.

The Lakers have won two of three on the road and are 7-9 as the visitor this season.

The Clippers come into tonight's game off a victory. On Monday, Elton Brand posted 23 points and 12 rebounds, as the Clippers pounded the Dallas Mavericks, 97-87, at Staples Center. Bobby Simmons recorded 21 points for the Clippers, who snapped a five-game losing streak to pick up their first win since posting a double overtime victory over the Miami Heat on January 14th.

Center Chris Kaman added 13 points and 12 rebounds in Monday's victory, while Rick Brunson and Quinton Ross netted 12 points apiece. Brunson also notched nine assists and six rebounds for the Clippers.

The Clippers, who are 8-19 when the score under 100 points this season, are 14-10 as the host this season.
