(Sports Network) - The Memphis Grizzlies try to win four straight games for the first time this season, as they host the struggling Utah Jazz at FedExForum.
On Saturday, Pau Gasol scored 23 points, including 16 during a decisive third quarter, as the Grizzlies earned a victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 104-95, at the Target Center.
Earl Watson chipped in 20 points and dished out eight assists in Saturday's victory for the Grizzlies, who rallied from a double-digit deficit in the third quarter to improve to 3-17 all-time at the Target Center. Bonzi Wells added 18 points and eight rebounds in the team's third straight win.
Gasol has scored 20 or more points in three straight and 13 of the 29 games he has played in this season. He leads the Grizzlies in scoring (19.2 ppg) and rebounding (8.7 rpg).
The Grizzlies are 9-7 as the host this season. Memphis has won three straight at home.
Utah comes into tonight's contest on a five-game losing streak. On Sunday, the Jazz were crushed by the Houston Rockets, 99-80, at the Toyota Center. Gordan Giricek paced Utah with 15 points in the loss to Houston.
Carlos Boozer finished with 14 points in Sunday's loss for the Jazz, who have dropped 15 of their last 18 games overall.
The Jazz are 4-14 when they score under 100 points this season.
Boozer has scored in double-digits in 14 straight contests. He has posted 16 double-doubles this season.
The Jazz are just 5-12 on the road this season. Utah has lost three in a row and 10 of its last 11 as the visitor.
Last season, Utah won three of four from the Grizzlies. Overall, The Jazz have won two straight and three of the last four meetings. Utah has lost four of its last six at the Grizzlies.
