Portland Trail Blazers (10-11) at Atlanta Hawks (4-18), 7:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Atlanta Hawks try to put the brakes on a three-game losing streak this evening when they welcome the Portland Trail Blazers to Philips Arena.
Atlanta's latest loss came on Wednesday, as it dropped a 92-69 decision to the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center.
Al Harrington netted 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Hawks, who have dropped four of five. Rookie Josh Smith added 14 points and 10 boards for Atlanta, which shot just 34.2-percent from the field.
Antoine Walker had his worst game with the Hawks, shooting 3-for-18 from the field and missing all three 3-point attempts
Harrington has scored 21 points in three straight games and is averaging 17.8 points and 6.8 rebounds this season.
Atlanta is just 2-10 at home this season.
Portland has also struggled of late and dropped a 112-88 decision to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday at Gund Arena. Darius Miles scored 21 points and grabbed six boards for the Trail Blazers, who have lost two straight and five of seven.
Shareef Abdur-Rahim was scratched from the contest right before the game with what was being called a hyperextended right elbow. His injury was not disclosed before the game, fueling speculation that he is on the trading block and a deal could be imminent.
Abdur-Rahim's status is uncertain for tonight's tilt.
Miles has scored in double-digits in three straight games and is averaging 16 points and four rebounds in that span.
Portland, which is in the midst of a six-game road trip, is just 3-8 away from home this season.
The Trail Blazers have won five straight from Atlanta, but could be at a disadvantage tonight, as the home team in this series has won six of the last eight meetings. Portland, though, has won two straight and four of its last six in Dixie.
