On Sunday, Jumaine Jones scored 22 of his 25 points in the second quarter and his clutch three-pointer with 1:59 left helped the Lakers to a 105-98 win over the Orlando Magic at the Staples Center. Jones, who went 6-for-6 from behind the arc in the second quarter, drained his seventh three of the game late in the fourth quarter to extend Los Angeles' lead to 100-96. Then, with the score 102-98, Jones grabbed a key rebound off a Kobe Bryant miss with 31 seconds remaining to extend the possession and allow the Lakers to increase their lead.

Bryant finished with 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Lakers, who have won two straight and three of four. Chris Mihm added 25 points and a career-high 14 rebounds for Los Angeles, which split the season series against the Magic. Lamar Odom ended with 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists for the Lakers, who overcame a deficit as big as 12 points to defeat Orlando.
