Los Angeles Lakers (3-3) at Orlando Magic (3-2), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Lakers play the third contest of a four- game road trip tonight, as they visit Steve Francis and the Orlando Magic at TD Waterhouse Centre.
The Lakers, who are 1-1 on the current trip, found themselves on the wrong end of a 110-87 decision against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday at FedExForum.
Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 20 points in the loss to Memphis, but finished just 4-of-19 from the floor. Lamar Odom racked up a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds for Los Angeles, which had its two-game winning streak halted.
After five games this season, Bryant leads the Lakers in scoring (27.7 ppg) and assists (4.3 apg), while Odom has registered 13.3 points and a team-high 10.2 rebounds per game.
LA is 1-2 as the visitor this season.
The Magic fell to the Washington Wizards, 106-96, on Wednesday at MCI Center. Grant Hill recorded a season-best 24 points for the Magic, who have dropped two of three following a 2-0 start to the year. Steve Francis compiled 23 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in defeat.
Orlando played without two starters who were injured in Tuesday's 94-84 home win over Dallas. Shooting guard Cuttino Mobley sat out with a strained right groin and center Kelvin Cato has a sprained ankle. Both players are questionable for tonight's contest.
Hill, who missed the entire 2003-04 campaign due to ankle surgery, had his best point total on Wednesday since a 27-point effort against Milwaukee on December 27, 2002. He has averaged 17.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and three assists in Orlando's first five games this season.
The Magic are 2-0 as the host this season.
Last season, the Lakers swept the two contests between the clubs. Overall, the Lakers have won three straight and 10 of the last 11 meetings. The Lakers have won five of six and six of their last nine at Orlando.
