Cleveland Cavaliers (7-15) at Houston Rockets (8-14), 8:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Cleveland Cavaliers will kick off a four-game road trip tonight against the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center.
The Cavs will also visit Oklahoma City, Miami and Indiana on the trek and are 3-8 away from home this season.
They have dropped seven in a row as the guest and six straight overall, including Wednesday's 88-83 setback versus the Chicago Bulls. Antawn Jamison scored 21 points to pace the Cavaliers, while Anderson Varejao added 17 points and 12 rebounds in the setback.
"We didn't get the outcome that we were looking for, but that's something to build on, because I thought our guys played hard for the first time in a while," said Cavaliers head coach Byron Scott.
Cleveland shot 38.3 percent and committed 16 turnovers.
Houston will begin a short homestand tonight versus Cleveland and Sacramento, and is 5-4 as the host this season. It has won four in a row at home.
In a 97-91 defeat at the hands of Milwaukee on Friday, Kevin Martin scored 23 points and Courtney Lee added 16 in a reserve role for the Rockets. Kyle Lowry added 11 points in a losing cause.
"We didn't defend the ball well enough and their big guy hurt us," said Houston head coach Rick Adelman. "I think we made some real mental mistakes throughout the course of the game again."
Luis Scola had just 10 points for the Rockets, who have dropped two of three games. Houston made 40.7 percent of its shots and committed 14 turnovers.
The Cavs and Rockets split a home-and-home series a season ago, with each team holding serve as the host. Cleveland has lost four straight and 19 of its last 22 contests in Houston.
