NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Sunday, November 29th (All times eastern)

Memphis Grizzlies (6-10) at Los Angeles Clippers (7-10), 3:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies will resume their season series Sunday from the Staples Center.

The Clippers will kick off a six-game homestand this afternoon versus the Grizzlies, Rockets, Pacers, Magic, Spurs and Wizards, and sport a 4-5 record in Hollywood this season. They have won two of their last three games and are coming off Friday's 104-96 victory over Detroit in which Chris Kaman registered 26 points and seven rebounds.

"They let me go single coverage with Ben Wallace and they didn't really double team me, and I took advantage of it and scored the basketball at a high percentage. My teammates did a great job of getting me the ball," said Kaman.

Baron Davis finished with 25 points, 10 assists and five boards, while Al Thornton scored 12 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter for Los Angeles, which snapped a 13-game slide against the Pistons.

Memphis will continue its five-game road trip Sunday and has split the first two tests of the swing. It lost to Phoenix in the opener of the trek before rebounding with Friday's 106-96 triumph at Portland, as Zach Randolph contributed 21 points and nine boards in the balanced attack.

Marc Gasol finished with 19 points and 15 rebounds, while O.J. Mayo added 19 points and six assists in the victory.

"He did a great job of quarterbacking the team," Mayo said of point guard Jamaal Tinsley, who had 16 points and five assists off the bench. "He did such a good job of putting everyone the right place, especially when Hasheem (Thabeet) was in the game; making sure that we didn't miss Thabeet. He (Tinsley) did an unbelievable job tonight."

The Grizzlies will also visit Utah and Minnesota, and are 2-7 away from FedEx Forum this season.

Memphis and Los Angeles have split the first two matchups between the teams this season, while the Clippers have won four of seven and eight of the last 12 meetings. These two teams have split the last 12 meetings at the Clippers.
