(Sports Network) - The Phoenix Suns will not be participating in the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2003-04 campaign and will resume a four- game road trip Friday versus the Memphis Grizzlies at FedEx Forum.
Phoenix has won three of its last four games and was beaten out by the Dallas Mavericks for the eighth and final playoff berth in the Western Conference. It is coming off Wednesday's 105-100 victory at New Orleans, as Steve Nash scored 24 points and dished out 13 assists to lead the way.

The Suns, who are 1-1 on the road swing, will also visit Minnesota and are 17-22 away from the desert this season.
Memphis has dropped two in a row since a four-game winning streak and suffered an 81-78 loss at Orlando on Wednesday. Rudy Gay finished with 18 points and six boards for the Grizzlies, who got 17 points apiece out of Mike Conley and O.J. Mayo.
Marc Gasol had 10 points and eight rebounds in defeat. The Grizz will try to improve their 14-25 home record this evening. Memphis center Darko Milicic (hamstring) and guard Quinton Ross (leg) are questionable for Friday's game.
The Suns have won the first two meetings with Memphis this season and will also host the Grizzlies on April 13. Phoenix has won 10 straight against Memphis, which 7-18 all-time as the host in this series.
