Memphis Grizzlies (21-54) at Milwaukee Bucks (32-45), 8:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - Two teams playing out the string hookup in Beer City Saturday when the Milwaukee Bucks host the Memphis Grizzlies at the Bradley Center.
The Bucks are coming off a loss in Philadelphia on Thursday after Lou Williams scored 21 points and Andre Iguodala netted 20, as Philadelphia improved its seeding for a possible playoff spot with a 105-95 win over the Bucks, putting a dent in Milwaukee's own chances for a postseason berth.
Ramon Sessions, coming off his first career triple-double in a home loss to the Lakers on Wednesday, tallied 18 points and 10 assists for the Bucks. Milwaukee, losers in seven of its last eight contests, is 4 1/2 games behind Chicago for the final playoff slot in the conference. The Bucks have just five games remaining and are also looking up at Indiana and Charlotte in the standings.
Milwaukee will be officially bounced from playoff contention for the third straight season if the Bulls best New Jersey on Saturday afternoon.
The Grizzlies, meanwhile, have long been eliminated from the postseason but have been playing better basketball of late, winning their third straight game over playoff-hopeful Dallas in Memphis on Friday.
Rudy Gay finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds in that one, as the Grizzlies pulled away for a 107-102 win over the Mavs.
Mike Conley added 25 points and five assists for Memphis, which has won four of their last five, following a period in which they had two victories in 19 contests.
O.J. Mayo had 19 points and nine boards in the win.
Milwaukee has won five straight over the Grizz, including a 101-96 overtime win in Memphis earlier this season.
