Washington Wizards (8-32) at Sacramento Kings (10-31), 10:00 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The struggling Sacramento Kings hope to beat an Eastern Conference foe for the first time this season tonight when they welcome the hapless Washington Wizards to ARCO Arena.
The Kings, who are a pathetic 0-15 against teams from the East this year, suffered their second straight loss in the Rocky Mountains on Tuesday when Linas Kleiza scored 27 points and Chauncey Billups added 22 as Denver rolled to a 118-99 win over Sacramento.
Kevin Martin had 25 points for the Kings, who have lost eight of their last 10 contests overall. Rookie Jason Thompson chipped in 18 points and 11 rebounds in defeat.
The Wizards, meanwhile, dropped the opener of a four-game road trip and fell to a miserable 2-17 on the road in Oakland on Monday when Jamal Crawford notched game-bests of 28 points and eight assists, as the Golden State Warriors made short work of Washington with a 119-98 victory.
Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler dropped 22 points apiece for the Wizards, who have lost nine of their last 11 overall. Andray Blatche also gave 22 points in addition to nine boards.
Washington will finish its trek with bouts against the LA Lakers and Portland.
The Wiz swept the home-and-home season series between the two clubs last season and have won six straight overall against Sacramento, which is a dismal 7-14 at ARCO Arena on the year.
