Memphis Grizzlies (17-52) at Miami Heat (37-32), 7:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Miami Heat are back in South Beach after a dreadful road trip and will welcome the struggling Memphis Grizzlies tonight to AmericanAirlines Arena.
Miami just went 1-3 on its recent trek and ended a three-game slide with Sunday's 101-96 triumph at Detroit behind Dwyane Wade's game-high 39 points and six assists. Wade, the NBA's leading scorer at 30.0 points per game, is averaging 36.6 ppg over his previous 11 outings.
Udonis Haslem knocked down the go-ahead jumper with six seconds remaining and ended with 16 points for Miami, which is fifth in the East standings and got 17 points from Jamario Moon. Jermaine O'Neal netted 14 points in the win and has blocked at least one shot in 22 consecutive games.
The Heat have won four in a row at home and are 24-11 as the host this season.
Memphis will open a four-game road trip Monday against the Heat, Kings, Blazers and Warriors and is only 5-28 as the guest this season. It has lost four straight overall and eight of the last nine games, including a 105-87 setback versus the Boston Celtics at FedEx Forum.
Hakim Warrick had 20 points to pace Memphis. Rudy Gay scored 15 points, while Mike Conley and O.J. Mayo scored 12 points apiece in defeat.
The Grizzlies have beaten the Heat three straight times and recorded a 102-86 victory in the series on December 14 this season at Memphis. The Grizzlies are 4-8 in 12 trips to South Beach.
