NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Wednesday, March 18th (All times eastern)

Chicago Bulls (31-37) at Oklahoma City Thunder (19-48), 8 p.m.

(Sports Network) - While the playoff-hungry Chicago Bulls have been taking care of business at home, it's the lack of road success that has been keeping this team grounded.

Chicago will try to snap a seven-game road losing streak Wednesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Ford Center. It is 10-26 away from the Windy City this season, but has won two straight overall after a three- game slide and most recently handed the defending champion Boston Celtics a 127-121 setback on Tuesday from the United Center.

John Salmons tied a career high with 38 points to help the Bulls snap a six- game losing streak to the Celtics. Brad Miller chipped in 21 points and 14 rebounds for the Bulls, who have won seven straight at home to grab sole possession of the eighth and final playoff berth in the East. Milwaukee is currently a half game off the pace.

Tyrus Thomas added 18 points and Ben Gordon 17 in the win.

Oklahoma City will continue a three-game homestand and opened the residency with Monday's improbable 78-76 victory over the tough San Antonio Spurs. Thunder star Kevin Durant had 25 points in the victory, Oklahoma City's fourth in a row as the host.

Thabo Sefolosha had 12 points and Jeff Green added 10 points and six boards for the Thunder, who are 14-20 at home this season and will also welcome the Utah Jazz to town. The Thunder are 5-3 so far in March.

Nick Collison (finger) is questionable tonight for the home team.

Oklahoma City topped Chicago, 109-98, in overtime at the United Center on January 10 this season to snap a four-game slide in the series. The Sonics/Thunder have won 13 of the previous 20 meetings with the Bulls.
