Los Angles Clippers (8-21) at Sacramento Kings (7-24), 10:00 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Sacramento Kings close out a three-game homestand Tuesday, hoping to halt an ugly six-game skid when they welcome the Los Angeles Clippers to ARCO Arena.
The Kings fell to 0-2 on their residency Sunday when Boston's Kevin Garnett logged 21 points and 11 rebounds in just 23 minutes of action and the Celtics breezed back into the win column with a resounding 108-63 victory over Sacramento.
John Salmons was the only Kings player in double figures in the game with 11 points, as Sacramento fell to 5-11 at home after shooting a woeful 27.9 percent from the floor.
The Clippers lost their third straight game in LA on Sunday when Dallas' Josh Howard scored 29 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out seven assists to lead the Mavericks in a 98-76 victory over the Clip at Staples Center.
Marcus Camby poured in 16 points and hauled in 12 rebounds for the Clippers. Al Thornton added 16 points and Eric Gordon 12 in defeat.
Star power forward Zach Randolph, who is averaging 23.1 points and 9.9 rebounds in 14 games since being acquired in a trade with the New York Knicks in late November, missed the game with a bruised left knee. Randolph will remain on the sidelines tonight and could be out for the next week or two.
The Clippers are already without center Chris Kaman (left arch) and rookie guard Mike Taylor (broken right thumb). Meanwhile, swingman Ricky Davis was suspended for five games Monday for violating the NBA's drug policy.
The Kings have won two straight over the Clips, including a 103-98 win in Hollywood on November 12.
Sacramento has dominated the series in California's capital, taking 18 of the past 20 meetings between the two clubs at ARCO Arena. LA is 5-9 as the visitor this season.
