(Sports Network) - The Atlanta Hawks will hit the road for two straight games, starting with Tuesday's matchup with the Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Hawks completed a lengthy eight-game homestand with a 7-1 record and went unbeaten over the last five contests at Philips Arena. In Monday's 109-91 throttling of the Denver Nuggets, Joe Johnson finished with a game-high 25 points and added seven assists and five rebounds to lead the streaking Hawks.
Mike Bibby had 20 points and nine assists, while Al Horford contributed 16 points and 10 rebounds for Atlanta, which has won eight of nine overall. The Hawks improved to 14-2 at home, but will try to work on their 6-8 road record this evening. They will also visit New Jersey on the trip.
Indiana will try to put the brakes on a three-game losing streak Tuesday and will close out a quick two-game homestand versus Atlanta. The Pacers suffered a 105-103 loss to the New Orleans Hornets on Sunday, as Danny Granger scored 34 points in a losing effort.
Troy Murphy recorded 16 points and 16 rebounds for Indiana, which got 19 points from rookie Roy Hibbert. The Pacers have lost three in a row at home as well and are 6-8 as the host this season.
Pacers guard T.J. Ford (back spasms) is questionable for Tuesday's game. He has missed the last two games.
The Pacers recorded a 113-96 win over Atlanta on November 18 this season in Indianapolis and have won three straight and six of the last eight meetings. Indiana is unbeaten in the past five matchups at home in this series.
