(Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats will try to extend their winning streak to a season high three straight games tonight when they welcome the New Jersey Nets to town in the back end of a home-and-home set.
The Bobcats will also host the New York Knicks on the short two-game homestand and are 8-10 at Time Warner Cable Arena this season. They have won two straight and four of five overall, including Friday's 95-87 triumph over the Nets at the IZOD Center.
Raymond Felton registered a game-high 22 points and Emeka Okafor contributed 21 points and nine rebounds for Charlotte, which got 16 points, 13 rebounds and six assists from Gerald Wallace. Boris Diaw ended with 16 points, eight boards and seven assists in the win.
New Jersey has dropped three of its last four games and will try to improve on its 9-4 away mark Saturday evening. In last night's loss versus the Bobcats, Vince Carter netted 19 points, while Devin Harris and Brook Lopez each scored 14 points in defeat.
Nets young forward Sean Williams missed Friday's game with flu-like symptoms and is questionable versus Charlotte.
New Jersey went 3-1 against the Bobcats a year ago and is 12-3 all-time in the series. Charlotte is 1-7 as the host against the Nets.
