(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia 76ers attempt to stay perfect in the Tony DiLeo era when they welcome the Indiana Pacers to the Wachovia Center on Saturday.
The Sixers improved to 3-0 under their interim coach Friday night when Lou Williams came off the bench and exploded for a career-high 26 points to pace Philadelphia over the struggling Washington Wizards, 109-103, in a back-and- forth affair at the Verizon Center.
Thaddeus Young added 18 points and four steals while rookie Marreese Speights also logged a career-high with 17 points for Philadelphia.
Andre Iguodala chipped in 18 points and a team-high nine rebounds for the Sixers, who played without Elton Brand, as the star forward is expected to miss a month after dislocating his right shoulder on Wednesday.
Indiana, meanwhile, dropped a tough one in double overtime on Friday when Los Angeles' Zach Randolph had 34 points and 16 rebounds, leading the Clippers to a 117-109 victory over the shorthanded Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Indiana was without Danny Granger, Marquis Daniels and Troy Murphy after all were hospitalized earlier Friday with flu-like symptoms. According to the IndyStar, all three are likely to miss tonight's game in Philadelphia.
Jarrett Jack had 27 points and seven assists to pace Indiana, which has lost seven of nine. T.J. Ford scored 17 points despite an injured groin, and Roy Hibbert and Rasho Nesterovic each posted 16 points in the loss. Brandon Rush contributed 14 points in defeat.
The Sixers snapped a three-game skid against the Pacers on November 14 with a hard-fought 94-92 win in Indiana.
