(Sports Network) - The Dallas Mavericks will open a three-game road trip tonight against the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre.
Dallas will also visit New Jersey and Washington on the trek and is 6-4 as the visitor this season. It had a brief two-game winning streak stopped with Monday's 98-88 loss versus the Denver Nuggets at American Airlines Center, as Dirk Nowitzki notched 27 points and 10 boards for the Mavs, who concluded a season-long seven-game homestand with a 5-2 mark.
Jason Terry netted 19 points in a losing cause. Josh Howard scored seven points after missing 11 games with a sprained left ankle.
Meanwhile, the Raptors will close out a three-game homestand Wednesday and are 5-7 in Canada this season. They have dropped the first two tests of the homestand, including Monday's 94-87 setback to the New Jersey Nets.
