New Orleans Hornets (13-7) at Memphis Grizzlies (9-15), 8:00 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Memphis Grizzlies will try to extend their season high winning streak to five games Tuesday when they resume a five-game homestand versus the New Orleans Hornets at FedEx Forum.
Memphis improved to 2-0 on the residency and posted its fourth straight win at home with Sunday's 102-86 victory over the Miami Heat. Rookie O.J. Mayo ended with a game-high 28 points, five rebounds and four assists for Memphis, which is 7-5 as the host this season.
Rudy Gay netted 18 points and Darko Milicic added 13 and five blocks in a winning effort. The Grizz will also host the Bobcats and Lakers.
The Hornets will close out a three-game road trip Tuesday and are 6-4 as the visitor this season. They are 1-1 on the trek and recorded a 99-91 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday at Air Canada Centre.
Chris Paul notched his 17th double-double of the year with 12 points and 12 assists to lead the Hornets, who have won four of five and eight of their last 10 games. David West poured in 29 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and James Posey registered a season-high 20 points and 10 boards off the bench.
New Orleans center Tyson Chandler (neck) is questionable for Tuesday.
The Hornets posted a 106-87 win over the Grizzlies on December 6 this season and have won six straight and 11 of the past 12 meetings.
Memphis has lost three in a row to New Orleans at FedEx Forum.
