New Jersey Nets (11-11) at Toronto Raptors (10-13), 7:00 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The New Jersey Nets will attempt to put the brakes on a three-game losing streak Monday when they visit the Atlantic Division-rival Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre.
New Jersey dropped its third consecutive game on Saturday, suffering a 113-104 setback to the Chicago Bulls at the United Center in the opener of a quick two-game road trip. Vince Carter had a game-high 39 points and six rebounds for the Nets, who fell to 7-4 as the guest this season.
Devin Harris added 22 points and seven assists, while Brook Lopez had 17 and seven rebounds in the loss. Bobby Simmons contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds for New Jersey. The Nets will open a four-game homestand following Monday's game.
The Raptors had a two-game winning streak come to an end with Sunday's 99-91 loss to the New Orleans Hornets in the opener of a three-game homestand, as Jose Calderon scored 22 points and handed out seven assists for Toronto, which has dropped six of eight overall.
Chris Bosh tallied 25 points, eight boards and six assists in defeat.
Toronto will also host the Dallas Mavericks and are 5-6 in Canada this season.
The 2008-09 series between New Jersey and Toronto is tied at a game apiece, while the Raptors have won five of the previous seven matchups.
Both teams have split the last eight games at Air Canada Centre.
