(Sports Network) - The New Jersey Nets shoot for their fifth straight road win tonight when they open a quick two-game swing against the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.
The Nets have won four in a row as the visitor and are 7-3 away from the Meadowlands this season. However, they have dropped two straight and three of the last five overall, including Friday's 101-79 setback to the Toronto Raptors at the IZOD Center.
Yi Jianlian and Devin Harris each had 14 points for the Nets, who will take on the Raptors Monday in the finale of the trip. Vince Carter shot 0-for-13 from the field against his former team and had just three points in defeat.
Chicago had a two-game winning streak come to an end with Friday's 103-96 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies at FedEx Forum, as Ben Gordon recorded a team-high 26 points on 7-of-11 three-point shooting for the Bulls, who have lost three of five games. Rookie Derrick Rose scored 12 points and dished out 11 assists in the loss, while Luol Deng added 19 points for Chicago.
The Bulls have won two in a row at home and are 7-3 in the Windy City this season.
New Jersey went 2-1 against Chicago a year ago and has won 13 of the last 17 meetings. The Bulls have won the last two encounters at the United Center.
