Sacramento Kings (6-16) at Los Angeles Lakers (18-3), 10:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Lakers aim to avenge a rare loss when they welcome the Sacramento Kings to Staples Center Friday.
The Lakers fell in Sacramento on Tuesday, 113-101, when John Salmons and Francisco Garcia each scored 21 points as the Kings held Kobe Bryant in check, dealing Los Angeles just its third loss of the season.
Bobby Jackson ended with 15 points and Spencer Hawes contributed 11 points and nine rebounds for the Kings, who snapped an eight-game skid at home and avoided setting a new franchise record for futility at ARCO Arena.
Most recently, Los Angeles topped Phoenix in the opener of a four-game homestand when Pau Gasol scored 28 points and the Lakers took advantage of a trade-depleted Suns squad to win 115-110 on Wednesday.
Bryant added 18 points and seven rebounds for the Lakers, who bounced back from the loss in Sacramento to move to 18-3 on the season. Andrew Bynum totaled 17 points and 11 rebounds for LA, which also received 15 points from Sasha Vujacic and 13 from Derek Fisher.
The Lakers, who are a gaudy 11-1 at home, will also meet Minnesota and New York on their residency.
The two teams have split a pair of meetings this season with each club winning on its home floor, but LA has won six of eight overall against the Kings, who are a miserable 2-8 on the road this season.
