Toronto Raptors (9-12) at New Jersey Nets (11-9), 7:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - A battle of Atlantic Division rivals is on tap tonight at the IZOD Center, where the New Jersey Nets host the Toronto Raptors.
New Jersey had a two-game winning streak stopped with Wednesday's 121-109 setback to the New York Knicks in the opener of a quick two-game homestand. Devin Harris paced the Nets with 32 points and seven assists, while Vince Carter added 18 points, seven boards and six helpers in defeat. Harris is averaging 24.8 points and has reached the 30-point mark seven times.
Yi Jianlian had 13 points and Bobby Simmons 11 for New Jersey, which lost for only the second time in its last seven games. The Nets are 4-6 at the Meadowlands in 2008-09.
The Raptors ended a five-game slide with Wednesday's 101-88 victory over the Indiana Pacers at Air Canada Centre, as Jason Kapono scored a season-high 25 points and Chris Bosh chipped in 21 and 10 rebounds for the Raptors, who gave interim coach Jay Triano his first victory after losing his first three games.
Jose Calderon recorded 11 points and 14 assists in a winning effort.
Toronto has lost four in a row on the road and is 4-7 as the visitor this season.
New Jersey posted a 129-127 overtime victory against Toronto on November 21 this season and has won two of the last three matchups.
The Raptors are just 1-4 in their previous five games in North Jersey.
