Memphis Grizzlies (5-14) at New Orleans Hornets (10-6), 8:00 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The suddenly streaking New Orleans Hornets continue a three-game homestand Saturday by welcoming the Memphis Grizzlies to the Big Easy.
The Hornets won the opener of the residency on Wednesday when Chris Paul scored 24 points and handed out 15 assists as New Orleans continued its dominance over the Phoenix Suns in a 104-91 decision at New Orleans Arena.
Peja Stojakovic hit five three-pointers on his way to a season-high 24-point effort for New Orleans, which has won five of six overall and six consecutive against Phoenix. David West finished with 23 points and 14 rebounds in the resounding win.
The Grizzlies, meanwhile, snapped a seven-game slide Friday when Rudy Gay went for a game-high 25 points as Memphis topped the struggling Los Angeles Clippers, 93-81, at FedEx Forum.
O.J. Mayo dropped 20 points to tie Lamar Odom's rookie record of 19 consecutive games in double figures to start a career. Odom turned the trick for the Clippers in 1999-00.
Hakim Warrick donated 14 points and Mike Conley 10 in the Grizzlies' first win since a November 18 home win against San Antonio. Memphis also halted a three- game home losing streak but has still dropped 11 of its last 13 contests overall.
The Hornets, who are 5-3 in New Orleans this season, have won four straight and 11 of their last 13 outings with the Grizz, who are a miserable 1-9 away from Beale Street this season.
