(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Lakers attempt to rebound from their first loss of the 2008-09 campaign, while the Chicago Bulls will try and win for the first time on the road this season as the two teams meet at Staples Center.
Detroit's Rasheed Wallace notched a season-high 25 points and grabbed a game- high 13 rebounds as the Detroit Pistons captured a 106-95 win against the Lakers on Friday.
Kobe Bryant dropped 29 points, six assists, four steals and five boards for the Lakers, who, at 7-0, were tied for their third-best start in franchise history and were the last unbeaten team in the NBA.
Pau Gasol logged a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort.
Rookie star Derrick Rose had 23 points and eight assists, and the Bulls defeated the Indiana Pacers by a 104-91 margin at United Center on Saturday.
Rose is currently averaging 18.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game this season.
Andres Nocioni had 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Ben Gordon added 19 points in the win for the Bulls, who finished out a five-game homestand with a 3-2 mark and are now embarking on a seven-game road trek. Luol Deng posted 17 points, and Larry Hughes scored 12 in the victory.
On the injury front, Lakers forward Vladimir Radmanovic is questionable tonight's game with a bruised left thigh.
Los Angeles has won two straight and four of its last five meetings versus the Bulls.
