Philadelphia 76ers (24-38) at Indiana Pacers (29-31), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The slumping Indiana Pacers host the streaking Philadelphia
76ers tonight at Conseco Fieldhouse.
This is the third of four meetings between the squads this season. Indiana won
the two previous contests.
Philadelphia has lost two straight after winning its last three at Indiana.
The Pacers have won four in a row in the series.
The Sixers are scheduled to host Indiana on April 10th at the Wachovia Center.
Philadelphia is fresh off of going a perfect 6-0 on a six-game homestand, and
opens a short two-game road trip this evening. On Friday, Andre Iguodala
posted 31 points and eight rebounds, as the 76ers wrapped up their homestand
with a 108-92 win over the Los Angeles Lakers at the Wachovia Center.
Andre Miller collected 23 points and eight assists for Philadelphia, which won
a season-high sixth straight contest and improved to 16-15 at the Wachovia
Center. Kyle Korver netted 18 and Samuel Dalembert had 12 points and 16 boards
for the Sixers, who have won seven in a row as the host.
The Sixers are 8-23 on the road this season. They are scheduled to visit the
Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday at Philips Arena.
Indiana, which returns home after going winless on a four-game road trip, has
dropped a season-worst seven straight games. Deron Williams finished with 17
points and six assists to help the Utah Jazz down the Pacers, 94-72, on
Wednesday at EnergySolutions Arena.
Troy Murphy led the Pacers with 15 points, while both Danny Granger and
Darrell Armstrong scored 12 points apiece in the loss to the Jazz.
All-Star Forward Jermaine O'Neal (sore left knee) is sidelined and is expected
to miss at least one week. O'Neal leads the Pacers in scoring (19.7 ppg) and
rebounding (10.0 rpg) in 54 games this season.
The Pacers are 18-12 at home this season. They will visit LeBron James and the
Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday at Quicken Loans Arena.
