(Wednesday, March 12th)

Final Score: Denver 108, Memphis 86

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Kenyon Martin had 23 points and seven rebounds as the Denver Nuggets routed the Memphis Grizzlies, 108-86, at the Pepsi Center.

Linas Kleiza scored 19 points and Carmelo Anthony finished with 14 points and 13 boards for the Nuggets, who snapped a brief two-game losing streak. Marcus Camby had eight points, 10 rebounds and six blocked shots for Denver.

Allen Iverson failed to score in double-digits for the first time all season. He finished with eight points on 2-of-12 shooting for the Nuggets.

"We are just trying to win 50 games," said Iverson. "If we don't make the playoffs it just shows the competition in the West. We need to take one game at a time and keep playing hard."

Juan Navarro had 16 points and seven boards, and Mike Miller added 12 points and nine rebounds for the Grizzlies, who have lost three in a row and 10 of 11 overall as well as 16 straight on the road. Hakim Warrick and Brian Cardinal scored 12 points apiece for Memphis, which shot just 35.6 percent.

Miller scored eight points as the Grizzlies opened the game with a 10-0 run. Denver, though, didn't take long to work its way back into the game as Martin's jumper with 3:39 left in the first quarter tied the game at 16.

Eduardo Najera's three with 15 seconds left in the opening quarter gave Denver a 23-22 lead heading into the second.

The Nuggets took control in the second quarter, opening up a 43-30 lead on Martin's dunk with 4:58 to go until halftime. Denver led 46-36 at the intermission.

Warrick's driving layup pulled Memphis within 48-40 with 10:20 left in the third quarter but the Grizzlies would get no closer. Martin's dunk with 4:40 left in the third capped a 19-5 surge that put the Nuggets ahead 67-45.

The Nuggets took a 84-58 lead into the final quarter thanks in large part to Martin's 16 third quarter points.

Najera's layup with 7:30 left in the fourth pushed the Nuggets lead to 96-64.
