NBA Game Summary - Toronto at LA Lakers

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Kobe Bryant scored a game-high 34 points and Lamar Odom added 20 points and nine rebounds, as the red-hot Los Angeles Lakers downed the Toronto Raptors, 117-108, at the Staples Center.
Bryant also added seven rebounds and seven assists, Derek Fisher scored 18 points and dished out five assists and Pau Gasol added 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the Lakers, winners in 17 of their last 20 games.
"We took care of the ball well in the second," said Gasol. "They collapsed a little in the paint, so I took the ball outside. We made some wide open shots."
T.J. Ford scored a team-best 28 points, Anthony Parker added 21 points and Rasho Nesterovic donated 18 points and eight rebounds for the Raptors, losers in five of their last seven. Andrea Bargnani totaled 15 points, six rebounds and six assists in defeat.
"We were trying to get to there three-point shooters," said Toronto head coach Sam Mitchell. "They made their threes and shot the ball extremely well."
Bryant's jumper with 5:16 to play put the Lakers in front 101-90, but Toronto cut the deficit to 106-100 on Nesterovic's layup with 2:05 to play. Gasol and Nesterovic traded hook shots, but after Bargnani's short jumper made the score 110-104, Fisher put the game away with a three-pointer.
Toronto played the first quarter at its pace and held a 25-22 lead before Bryant and the up-and-down Lakers attack changed the game's dynamic in the second stanza.
The Lakers claimed the lead, 37-35, on Jordan Farmar's trey with 6:28 remaining in the half, and Fisher's three-pointer just over three minutes later made the score 47-40.
Another Fisher three, this one with five ticks to go, cemented the Lakers lead at 58-52 after 24 minutes.
The Raptors drew within two points several times in the third quarter, once at 67-65 on Bargnani's reverse layup with 7:54 remaining. Los Angeles scored the game's next six points capped by Odom's layup with 6:32 to play. Bryant's three about one minute later put the Lakers in front 76-67.
The Lakers held an 83-77 lead after three quarters.
