NBA Game Summary - New Jersey at Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Vince Carter scored 23 points and had seven assists, while Jason Kidd chipped in with 17 points and 15 helpers to lift the Nets over the Bucks, 97-95, at the Bradley Center.
Richard Jefferson added 19 points for New Jersey, which has won four of its last five games. The club struggled from three-point range, hitting just five of 20 shots, and went just 12-of-23 from the charity stripe.
Michael Redd scored a game-high 35 points and added five rebounds for Milwaukee, which has lost three straight and 14-of-18 overall since starting the season 7-4. Mo Williams added 24 points and dished out six assists, and Yi Jianlian donated 12 points in defeat.
Holding a two-point lead heading to the fourth, the Nets couldn't pull away. Milwaukee opened the stanza on a 6-0 run, before Bostjan Nachbar broke the spell with a three-point shot for New Jersey to cut it to 69-68.
The Bucks continued to run in front until Kidd hit a jumper, and off a Redd miss at the other end, followed up with a trey to make it 81-77 with a little more than six minutes to play.
Both teams then battled down the stretch, until Carter hit a reverse layup with 55 seconds left. Malik Allen added a jumper with 23.1 seconds on the clock, and New Jersey held the lead the rest of the way.
The Bucks got within a point on Redd's trey with one second left, but Darrell Armstrong added a free throw for the Nets to seal the victory.
Milwaukee held a 25-19 lead after the first quarter, and the game was tied, 43-all at the break.
An Allen jumper put the Nets on top, 65-63, heading to the fourth quarter.
Kidd needs one more assist to break the 9,000 plateau for his career...The Nets shot 50 percent to Milwaukee's 44 percent...Williams had 20 of his 24 points in the first half. He fouled out with 2:03 remaining.
