NBA Game Summary - Phoenix at Golden State

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Monta Ellis scored 31 points, including 15 straight Golden State points in the final quarter, as the Warriors snapped Phoenix's eight-game winning streak with a 129-114 victory at ORACLE Arena.
Stephen Jackson tallied 32 points and eight rebounds for Golden State, which has won six of seven since starting the season with six consecutive defeats. Baron Davis had 28 points and 10 assists for the Warriors, who went 13-of-28 from three-point range and torched the Suns for 45 points in the opening quarter.
Steve Nash had 23 points and 13 assists, but also committed eight turnovers for the Suns, who hadn't tasted defeat since November 7 at Atlanta. It was just the third loss in 14 games for the Suns this season.
Davis drilled a three-pointer for a 110-96 Golden State lead with 9:33 left, and then it was the 'Monta Ellis show.' Ellis nailed a 17-foot jumper to begin his run of 15 straight Warrior points, ending the team spurt with a driving layup with 3:36 left for a 125-110 margin.
Al Harrington tallied 14 points for Golden State, while Amare Stoudemire and Grant Hill each scored 17 for Phoenix.
The Warriors used a 14-5 run to expand to a 39-28 lead in the opening quarter. Davis capped the flurry with a three-pointer and Golden State led by eight going into the second stanza.
Golden State never lost the lead after that, moving ahead by as many as 14 in the second at 72-58 on a Kelenna Azubuike free throw. It was 72-63 at the half.
The Suns couldn't keep up offensively in the third and were behind 103-92 going into the fourth.
The Suns fell to 11-1 this season when scoring at least 100 points...Ellis tied his career-high. He also had 31 in a 100-98 overtime win at Philadelphia Saturday...Golden State has won just three of the last nine meetings...Shawn Marion had 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Suns, while Raja Bell scored 14 and Leandro Barbosa 16 for the visitors...Azubuike had 11 points.
