NBA Game Summary - Portland at Denver

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points, and the Denver Nuggets cruised to a 110-93 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
Allen Iverson added 20 points and seven assists for the Nuggets, who won their fourth straight. Kenyon Martin scored 14 points for Denver, and Marcus Camby pulled down 13 rebounds to go along with five points.
LaMarcus Aldridge scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Blazers, who saw their four-game win streak come to an end. Jarrett Jack scored 13 points off the bench, and Martell Webster and Travis Outlaw scored 12 points each for Portland.
The Nuggets took control early in the second quarter. Denver turned a three- point lead into a 14-point advantage after a 16-5 run. A Martin dunk and an Anthony jumper closed the stretch, putting the Nuggets up 43-29 with 3:19 left.
"Defensively we established our game philosophy early," said Nuggets head coach George Karl.
Denver took a 52-38 lead into the break.
"They set the tone at the start by being aggressive, and we couldn't get anything going," said Blazers head coach Nate McMillan. "They imposed their will on us from the start, and it looked like we just didn't have any legs tonight."
The Nuggets took a 78-61 lead into the fourth quarter, and put the game away. Denver scored the first six points of the quarter, extending its edge to 84-61 after two Iverson free throws. The Denver lead tapped out at 23 points, and the Nuggets were able to rest most of their starters down the stretch.
The Nuggets won despite making a season-low 1-of-13 three-pointers...Denver outscored the Blazers in the paint, 56-32...Brandon Roy was held to 10 points for the Blazers.
