NBA Game Summary - Toronto at Washington

Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Antawn Jamison had 28 points, 14 rebounds and a pair of blocked shots to help Washington to a 101-97 victory over the Toronto Raptors.
Caron Butler scored a game-high 29 points to go along with seven assists for the Wizards, who posted just their second win in six games. Roger Mason chipped in 15 points and DeShawn Stevenson added 11 for Washington, which shot 56.5 percent from the field, also going 10-of-19 from three-point range.
"We found a way to get stops," Jamison said. "We did a lot of switching because they had a small lineup."
Jason Kapono had 23 points off the bench for the Raptors, who had their three- game winning streak snapped. Anthony Parker finished with 18 points and Carlos Delfino 15, while Jose Calderon ended with 11 points and 11 assists.
"We struggled in the third quarter," Kapono said. "We allowed them to make a lot of three-point shots. We gave up a lot of shots on the perimeter and they made them."
Jamario Moon had 16 points and 13 rebounds for Toronto, which shot just 43.2 percent, ending 11-of-27 from beyond the arc.
A Kapono three-pointer pulled the Raptors within 98-94 with 44.3 seconds left, but after Stevenson missed a three, Jamison came up with a big offensive rebound. Butler then made 1-of-2 foul shots with 16.3 seconds remaining, and Kapono missed a three at the other end.
Butler sealed the victory by nailing two free throws.
The game was tied at 23 after the first quarter, but Toronto used a 10-2 run early in the second to extend to a 35-27 lead following consecutive threes from Kapono.
However, Washington scored 11 in a row later in the quarter for a 48-43 lead. Jamison's layup capped the spurt. The advantage reached 53-45 at the half following a Mason three.
The Wizards led by 11 early in the third before the Raptors rallied and closed within one, at 66-65 on a Kapono jumper with 4:16 left in the third.
Delfino's three tied the game, but Butler responded with a shot from beyond the arc, giving Washington a 78-75 lead going into the fourth. The Wizards led by as many as nine in the final quarter.
At halftime, the Wizards retired Earl "The Pearl" Monroe's No. 10 jersey...Washington has won 10 of the last 15 meetings...Chris Bosh was out with a strained right groin for Toronto.
