Final Score: Houston 103, Orlando 92

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Yao Ming had 37 points and seven rebounds to help the Houston Rockets to a 103-92 win over the Orlando Magic at the Toyota Center.

Tracy McGrady added 19 points and 10 assists and Juwan Howard had 14 points off the bench for the Rockets, who have won their last three games.

"We did a great job of searching out Yao tonight, moving the ball around," said McGrady. "When the big fella is making shots down on the post like that, it's quite simple -- get him the ball. And that's what we did tonight."

Yao scored eight points in the second quarter and Houston extended its lead in the second quarter by five points to take a 58-45 lead heading into the locker room.

"Houston did exactly what we were scared they would do coming in and that's jump out early," said Hill. "That's been their M.O. especially when they are at home. We got back into the game but it seemed we were swimming upstream all game."

A pair of free throws by Howard with 2:39 left in the third quarter staked the Rockets to their largest lead of the game till that point, 79-59, and they took an 81-66 lead into the final 12 minutes.

Orlando went on a 15-5 run late in the fourth quarter to cut its deficit to 10 points, 96-86, but the Rockets held on for the win.
