NBA Game Summary - New Orleans/Oklahoma City at Utah

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Mehmet Okur posted 29 points, while Carlos Boozer scored 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to help the Utah Jazz to a 96-86 victory over the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets at EnergySolutions Arena.
Gordon Giricek had 16 points with six boards for the Jazz, who have won six straight games. Deron Williams chipped in 10 points and dished out 13 assists in the win.
Utah finished 44 percent shooting from the field.
Jannero Pargo poured in 15 points and David West added 13 with 10 rebounds for the Hornets, who have dropped five in a row. Chris Paul donated 12 points with 11 helpers, while Tyson Chandler also netted 12 points in defeat.
The Hornets held a 25-19 edge at the end of the first quarter, but Utah cut its deficit to 47-45 on Boozer's layup.
The Jazz opened the third with a 9-0 run -- ended when Boozer drained a fadeaway jumper -- for a seven-point lead. Then, after Paul's jump shot brought New Orleans within four, Utah scored the next seven points and led 68-57 with 3:30 remaining.
Jackson capped the frame with a triple as the Hornets trailed, 73-63.
It was much of the same in the fourth and New Orleans could only get as close as five, 77-72, on Rasual Butler's dunk with 7:41 to play. Utah responded with an 11-3 spurt, ended when Boozer hit a three-pointer, to go up by 13 at the 4:16 mark.
New Orleans shot 45 percent from the floor.
Matt Harpring scored 10 points for Utah...New Orleans' Devin Brown had 11 points.
