NBA Game Summary - San Antonio at Memphis

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Pau Gasol poured in 25 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 101-91.
Locked into the third seed in the Western Conference, the Spurs rested stars Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili and Memphis, the worst team in the NBA, took advantage.
Chucky Atkins scored 19 points and Dahntay Jones had 16 for the Grizzlies, who have won two in a row after a six-game losing streak.
Memphis will wrap up its dismal 2006-07 campaign Wednesday at Minnesota.
James White and Michael Finley each scored 17 points for the Spurs, who have dropped two straight after a six-game winning streak.
San Antonio will conclude its regular season against Denver on Wednesday.
The Grizzlies were all over the Spurs from the start, ripping off a 9-0 run in the first quarter en route to a 26-17 advantage. It was more of the same in the second quarter as Gasol nailed a three-pointer at the buzzer to give Memphis a 56-43 halftime lead.
Memphis took an 82-66 lead into the fourth quarter and led by as much as 19 early in the quarter before the Spurs' backups made things interesting. The Spurs went on an 18-2 run to pull within five, 91-86, on Jackie Butler's jumper with just over three minutes to play. Beno Udrih's trey soon made it a four point game, but Memphis closed the game out with an 8-2 spurt to cruise to the victory.
The Grizzlies ended a seven-game losing streak to the Spurs...Memphis finished the season with a 14-27 home record...San Antonio ended with a 27-14 record as the visitor.
