NBA Game Summary - LA Lakers at Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Steve Nash scored 23 points and dished out 10 assists to lead the Suns over the Lakers, 99-94, at US Airways Center.
Leandro Barbosa added 20 points and Amare Stoudemire had 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Suns, who have won two straight and seven of eight.
Kobe Bryant had 31 points and Brian Cook tallied 22 points and 14 boards for the Lakers, losers in consecutive games.
Los Angeles was playing its first game without forward Lamar Odom, who is out indefinitely with a torn left labrum suffered on Friday.
Down 57-56 midway through the third quarter, Phoenix ripped off nine straight points to take the lead for good. James Jones' three-pointer started the run and Barbosa ended it with a free throw for a 65-57 lead that allowed the Suns to cruise into the fourth with a 74-67 cushion.
Shawn Marion's bucket 5 1/2 minutes into the fourth gave the Suns a 10-point lead, 88-78, but LA rallied to make it interesting down the stretch.
Bryant's bucket with under three minutes to play drew the Lakers within 93-90. However, LA couldn't get any closer than three points the rest of the way.
Nash hit a pair of free throws with four seconds left to ice the game.
Marion ended with 13 points and 12 rebounds for Phoenix, which led 22-21 after one quarter and went into halftime tied at 46.
Raja Bell had 14 points, hitting 4-of-6 three-pointers.
Ronny Turiaf had eight points to finish at the third leading scorer for the Lakers...Phoenix hit 7-of-19 from beyond the arc...LA hit 9-of-24 three- pointers...The Suns hit 22-of-27 free throws compared to 15-of-20 for the Lakers.
