NBA Game Summary - San Antonio at Detroit

Auburn Hills, MI (Sports Network) - Tim Duncan scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Manu Ginobili added 20 points as San Antonio cruised past Detroit, 90-81, at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
Tony Parker netted 16 points and dished out eight assists for the Spurs, who wrapped up an eight-game road trip with a 4-4 record heading into the All-Star break. Francisco Elson poured in 12 points and pulled down 18 boards in the win.
San Antonio finished 51 percent shooting from the field.
Richard Hamilton scored 20 points and Chauncey Billups posted 19 with seven rebounds and six assists for the Pistons, who had a seven-game winning streak halted. Chris Webber finished with 14 points, Rasheed Wallace had 13 and Lindsey Hunger donated 11 in defeat.
Fabricio Oberto's three-point play put the Spurs up 25-19 after one quarter of play, and in the second, Ginobili drilled a trey with 10:11 left for a 15- point advantage.
Duncan then capped the frame with a running hook shot as San Antonio led 51-34 at the half.
It was much of the same in the third as the Spurs, who led by as many as 18, held a double-digit lead over Detroit and went into the final frame up 70-54.
The Pistons got as close as seven on Hamilton's layup with just under one minute to play, but it was too little, too late as they were also outscored by seven in the fourth.
Detroit shot 41 percent in the contest...The Spurs outrebounded the Pistons, 45-35...Attendance was 22,076.
