NBA Game Summary - LA Clippers at Indiana

Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Jermaine O'Neal scored a team-high 21 points and pulled down eight rebounds as the Indiana Pacers defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, 94-80, at Conseco Fieldhouse.
O'Neal was 9-of-18 shooting from the field and also dished out three assists and had four blocks.
Mike Dunleavy chipped in with 20 points and Marquis Daniels contributed 14 points and five rebounds for the Pacers, who snapped a three-game losing streak and will host the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night.
Danny Granger had nine points for Indiana, but was taken off the floor on a stretcher after he fell to the hardwood with just over 4 1/2 minutes left in the third quarter. The injury was not immediately known.
Cuttino Mobley scored a game-high 23 points on 9-of-14 from the floor including 2-of-4 shooting from three-point range for the Clippers. Sam Cassell and Elton Brand each added 14 points apiece for Los Angeles, which has lost four of its last five contests.
Chris Kaman had 10 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds for the Clippers.
"It was a much needed win," Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said. "I thought Jamaal (Tinsley) played a great all around game, he had 15 assists and got everyone involved. Our balance was better and our turnovers were low."
After an evenly played first three minutes of the contest, the Pacers went on an 8-2 run, taking a 12-4 lead following a turnaround jumper by O'Neal midway through the quarter.
The Pacers maintained an 18-13 advantage with under two minutes left in the quarter and held a 20-17 lead at the end of the first period.
After the Clippers took a 26-24 advantage following a layup by Corey Maggette with 9:15 left in the first half, the Pacers got baskets by Orien Greene and Daniels to reclaim the lead. Indiana closed out the first half with a 28-8 run and took a 52-32 advantage into the intermission.
Los Angeles came out in the third quarter and matched the Pacers basket-for- basket early in the period, trying to cut into the Indiana lead. The Clippers managed to cut the deficit to 69-62 following a three-pointer by Cassell with 2:20 left in the stanza. However, the Pacers reeled off eight straight points to close out the quarter and took a 77-62 lead after three periods of play.
"On the road, you've got to be tougher than what we are," Cassell said. "We just need a victory. We didn't come out here and get it."
The Pacers continued to hold the Clippers at an arm's length in the early stages of the fourth quarter, but Los Angeles was able to chisel the Indiana lead down to seven after Maggette made a jumper with 5:46 remaining in the contest, but weren't able to get any closer.
Clippers center Zeljko Rebraca missed the game with discomfort in his lower back...Maggette scored eight points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Clippers, who will travel to Detroit on Monday...Jamaal Tinsley had 10 points and 15 assists for the Pacers...Indiana shot 49 percent from the field, while the Clippers made only 37 percent of their shots.
