NBA Game Summary - Minnesota at Memphis

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Rudy Gay scored 19 points to lead six players in double figures for the Memphis Grizzlies, who downed the Minnesota Timberwolves, 105-97, in overtime at the FedExForum.
Mike Miller posted 17 points and seven assists for Memphis, which snapped a four-game losing streak and has dropped six of its last eight games overall. Chucky Atkins scored 15 points, while Damon Stoudamire added 13 points. Hakim Warrick scored 12 points, and Pau Gasol, who is the subject of trade rumors, contributed 10 points and a season-high tying 17 rebounds.
The Grizzlies are 10-17 at home this season. They ended a three-game losing streak at the FedExForum.
Mark Blount posted 25 points and nine rebounds for the Timberwolves, who have lost five of six. Kevin Garnett notched 20 points and 17 boards. Ricky Davis had 16 points, nine assists and eight boards. Trenton Hassell added 10 points.
Minnesota is 9-18 on the road this season. The Timberwolves return home to host the Boston Celtics on Sunday and the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday at the Target Center.
Warrick's free throw with 52.8 seconds left in overtime gave Memphis an eight- point lead and capped a 10-2 run through overtime.
Blount drilled a trey at 46.4 to make it a two-possession game, but Atkins and Gay hit three free throws in the final minutes to preserve the win for Memphis.
Davis' jumper with 48 seconds left in regulation put Minnesota ahead by two, but Miller responded on a layup with 32.7 seconds remaining to tie it again.
Warrick then came up big on the defensive end by stuffing Blount's jump-shot attempt. Memphis got three good looks before the buzzer, but Atkins, Gasol and Warrick each came up short, as the game went into overtime.
Memphis edged a 24-23 first-quarter lead, and added to it early in the second. The Grizzlies went on an 11-0 run capped by a Warrick three-point play with 8.13 remaining for a 37-28 lead. They held a 46-43 halftime advantage.
Minnesota came alive down the third-quarter stretch, closing the stanza on a 13-5 run snapped by Atkins' jumper at the buzzer for a 72-67 lead heading into the fourth.
Trailing by six, Memphis went on an 8-0 spurt capped by an Atkins layup with 3:16 remaining to take an 88-86 lead heading down the stretch.
This was the second contest of the campaign between the clubs this season. On January 12th, Garnett finished with 28 points and 11 rebounds to lift the Timberwolves past Memphis, 116-110, at FedExForum...Minnesota has won 16 of its last 22 at the Grizzlies.
