NBA Game Summary - Portland at Houston

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Tracy McGrady poured in 28 points on 11-of-16 shooting, as the Houston Rockets routed the Portland Trail Blazers 99-69 at the Toyota Center.
Shane Battier netted 15 points, Bonzi Wells chipped in with 14 points and seven rebounds for the Rockets, who won their second straight game. McGrady had 17 points in the decisive third quarter, when Houston outscored Portland, 32-14.
Zach Randolph scored 13 points and grabbed six boards for the Trail Blazers, who had their two-game win streak snapped. Portland shot just 36.1 percent from the field.
Portland tied the game at 44 early in the third, but McGrady scored seven in a row to give Houston the lead for good. Ahead 56-48 with 4:37 left to play in the third quarter, the Rockets went on a 12-0 run to finish the period and take a commanding 68-48 lead into the final stanza.
It was more of the same in the fourth quarter as the Trail Blazers never threatened.
Houston opened the game with a 10-2 run, capped by a McGrady three-pointer, but the visiting Blazers responded with a 14-4 run of their own and led 20-19 at the end of the first quarter.
The two teams exchanged buckets in the second quarter, but a Juwan Howard jumper with 16 seconds remaining in the half gave the Rockets a 36-34 lead at the intermission.
Houston was without Yao Ming, Portland without Darius Miles...Randolph was the only Trail Blazer to score in double-digits...Houston outrebounded Portland 47-32...Portland has lost six straight and seven of its last eight at Houston.
