NBA Game Summary - Memphis at Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Amare Stoudemire poured in a game-high 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Phoenix to a 96-87 thrashing of Memphis at US Airways Center.
Stoudemire finished 10-of-14 shooting while Shawn Marion scored 17 points and grabbed nine boards for the Suns, who snapped a four-game losing streak despite scoring only seven points in the fourth quarter.
Leandro Barbosa contributed 16 points with 12 assists and Steve Nash and Jalen Rose each added 11 points in the victory.
Phoenix shot 41.4 percent from the field.
Chucky Atkins came off the bench and scored 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting for the Grizzlies, who have dropped three straight.
Rudy Gay had 14 points and nine rebounds and Hakim Warrick scored 12 in the loss.
The final score didn't do the game justice as the Suns thoroughly dominated most of the game, including a string of 16 straight points in the third quarter to take a commanding 30-point lead.
The game remained tight in the first with Phoenix gaining the largest lead, up by three after a jumper and free throw by Boris Diaw midway through the quarter. Each team ended the first with 23 points.
The Grizzlies went on a 7-0 run to open the second frame, capped by Atkins' jumper, but the Suns tied the contest 39-39 with just under six minutes to play in the half. Phoenix then turned it on with a 15-4 burst en route to a 54-43 halftime advantage.
In the third, the Suns scored 16 straight points to take a commanding 75-45 lead with 5:21 left. Memphis was outscored 35-15 in the quarter.
The Grizzlies tried to mount a comeback in the final frame, going on a 22-2 spurt, but were never a serious threat.
Memphis was 2-of-12 from three-point range...The Suns held an opponent under 100 points for the first time this year...Mike Miller scored 11 points and Lawrence Roberts added 10 for the Grizzlies...Memphis dropped to 4-19 in Phoenix...The Grizzlies visit the Lakers on Sunday while Phoenix hosts Philadelphia on Friday.
