NBA Game Summary - Toronto at Philadelphia

(Monday, January 15th)

Final Score: Toronto 104, Philadelphia 86

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Chris Bosh scored 27 points on 11-of-14 shooting as Toronto crushed Philadelphia, 104-86, at the Wachovia Center.

Joey Graham added 18 points off the bench for the Atlantic Division leading Raptors, who have won three of their past four games. Anthony Parker chipped in with 17 points while T.J. Ford donated 13 points and 11 assists.

Andre Iguodala had 15 points for the cellar dwelling 76ers, who lost for the sixth time in seven games. Willie Green and Samuel Dalembert tallied 13 points apiece and rookie Rodney Carney finished with 11.

The two teams were deadlocked at 24 after the opening 12 minutes but Toronto used a stifling defense to open up a 50-44 lead at intermission.

The Raptors then put things away with a dominant third quarter. Toronto outscored the hapless Sixers 32-14 in the frame to put the game away.

Jorge Garbajosa drained a three with 7:35 left in the quarter to give Toronto its first double-digit cushion, 61-51.

The Raptors continued to run away with it from there. Radoslav Nesterovic's hook shot, nearly four minutes later, put Toronto up by 20, 73-53, and the Raptors ended the frame with an insurmountable 82-58 advantage.

The Sixers managed to cut the lead to 16, 87-71, on an electrifying Carney jam with seven minutes left. But, the Raptors were never seriously threatened from there and coasted to the finish line.
