Juan Dixon scored 15 points and Martell Webster had 12. Jamaal Magloire added 11 points off the bench, which outscored the Portland starters, 73-20.

Denver exploded for a 31-19 first-quarter lead, but got outscored 37-18 in the second to trail 56-49 at halftime.

The Nuggets went on an 18-0 run to start the third capped by a pair of Blake threes, the latter of which occurred with 7:12 remaining, and the Nuggets staked a 90-73 advantage heading into the final stanza.
