NBA Game Summary - Detroit at Sacramento

Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) - Kevin Martin tied a career-high with 30 points to lead the Sacramento Kings to a 99-86 victory over the Detroit Pistons at Arco Arena.
Ron Artest, who finished with 10 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals, played the Pistons for the first time since November 19, 2004 when the infamous melee ensued at the Palace at Auburn Hills.
Mike Bibby had 23 points and seven rebounds while Corliss Williamson added 15 points for the Kings, who have won two in a row.
Chauncey Billups netted 25 and Richard Hamilton chipped in 20 points for the Pistons, who have lost two straight games.
Tied at two, the Kings reeled off a 16-2 run, including six points from Bibby, for an 18-4 lead. The Pistons added fuel to the fire by connecting on only two field goals in the first 9:35.
The Pistons shot just 5-for-20 from the floor while Sacramento connected on 6- for-20 in the opening 12 minutes, as the Kings led 18-11.
Sacramento score nine of the first 11 points in the second for a 27-13 margin, but Detroit went on a 16-2 surge, highlighted by treys from Billups and Ronald Murray, to tie the game 29-29.
The teams were knotted at 39 at the half.
Billups' running jumper gave the Pistons a 51-46 advantage, but the Kings countered with a 12-4 rally, capped by Bibby's reverse layup, to move in front 58-53.
Sacramento led 71-64 heading into the final frame, as Martin scored 14 third- quarter points.
Murray's jumper with 9:18 to play cut the deficit to 79-71, but the Kings used a 10-4 burst, which Bibby began with a three-point play, to build a 14-point lead, 89-75, with 4:45 to play.
The Kings went 8-for-8 from the line in the final four minutes to seal the win.
Detroit's Rasheed Wallace was 0-for-9 from the field and didn't score while Tayshaun Prince was 3-of-13 for six points...The Kings shot 43 percent from the floor, while the Pistons connected on 39.4 percent of their shots from the field...Detroit had won the previous three meetings...Sacramento won the rebounding battle 50-35.
